Tips to Clean Bathroom Grout

Just like cleaning behind a toilet, cleaning grout often feels like a job you don't want your biggest enemy to undertake. However, the dirty dirt caught between the tiles will eventually become embarrassing enough that you will remove it at all costs. Here are a few tips to help you clean the grout and make it easier for you to finish it faster than most people realize.
- Water and a Brush
Soak the brush in a bowl of water and scrub the cement slurry well. If you find that water just doesn't reduce it, you can continue to use the following more aggressive methods. Even if you do, scrubbing your grout with a good brush and water is a good first step for any of the methods listed here because it helps prepare the area by removing the first layer of scum.
- Vinegar and Warm Water
- Chlorine Bleach and Water
If you have white grout, household chlorine bleach is OK, and it's very simple. An important warning is that you need to wear protective equipment when using this method, because chlorine bleach will corrode your skin and damage your clothes. We recommend safety glasses, rubber gloves and old clothes. We also recommend opening windows to ventilate the area. When ready, simply immerse the grouting brush in the bleach container, apply it on the grouting line and scrub it. Rinse the area thoroughly and dry with a towel.
- Hydrogen Peroxide and Baking Soda
This method first uses hydrogen peroxide and baking soda to make batter. The proportion of each component may vary, depending on the thickness of the mixture you want. First pour a few tablespoons of baking soda into the bowl, and then pour hydrogen peroxide until you reach the consistency you want. Mix the slurry on the cement slurry with a brush and let it stand for 10 minutes. Use a toothbrush, but using an electric toothbrush to increase speed, then scrub the coating area and wipe it clean with a damp cloth.
- Steam
These are all the tips. If you want to clean your bathroom grout, you can refer to them.
